Catherine Mujomba
Since 2007, Catherine is the administration manager at the GoDown Arts Centre, Nairobi Kenya.
She has over thirty years of experience within the arts and culture sector both as an administrator and as a creative. For the past five years she has been involved in teaching courses in Intellectual Property and Intermediate Contract Law as part of the GoDown’s regional programming. She also currently oversees the HR department at the GoDown.
Liz lenjo
Liz Lenjo is the Founder and Managing Consultant of MYIP Legal Studio (Formerly Founder and Managing Partner of Kikao Law).
She specializes in Intellectual Property, Entertainment, Media and Fashion Law. She is a Member of the Copyright Tribunal and serves on the Kenya Fashion Council as the Head of Intellectual Property & Policy in the Legal Committee. She is an adjunct faculty member at the Strathmore University Law School where she teaches Media and Entertainment Law as well as Business Law.
Paul Kaindo
Paul Kiarie Kaindo is an Advocate of the High court of Kenya specializing in Copyright and Related Rights.
He is currently a Senior Legal Counsel at the Kenya Copyright Board. Paul has over five years of experience in copyright infringement prosecution and has successfully litigated several cases on Copyright and Related Rights in Kenya. He is a member of The Law Society of Kenya and The East Africa Mediation Training Institute.
Lima Mbai
Lima Mbai is the Programmes Officer at the GoDown Arts Centre, and part of the CopyrightX teaching team.
Lima has worked in the creative sector since 2009 where she worked as a programme assistant engaged in delivering the Manjano Exhibition, Nai Ni Who?, GoDown Gig and Dunda Mtaani programmes at the GoDown. Lima has also worked extensively in relationship management with visual artists at the GoDown.
She is a 2015 alumnus of the CopyrightX course and has been part of the teaching team for the course since 2018.
